Kareena Kapoor Khan on working with Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh in Singham Again: There’s no one better than Rohit Shetty to bring us all together

Rohit Shetty’s upcoming actioner, Singham Agian is a multi-starrer featuring an ensemble cast that includes actors like Ajay Devgn, Akshay Kumar, Ranveer Singh, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Deepika Padukone and others. It is the fifth instalment of Shetty’s Cop Universe and is currently being filmed in Mumbai. The film will see Ajay, Akshay and Ranveer reprise their roles as Bajirao Singham, DCP Veer Sooryavanshi and Sangram ‘Simmba’ Bhalerao, respectively.

During a recent conversation with BBC Asian Network, Kareena was quizzed about the film and whether she would share screens with the rest of the cast, especially Deepika and Ranveer.  Read on to know her response.

Responding to the query, Kareena said, “I’m sure that’s part of the surprise of the film that you guys have to watch! But yes, it’s a stellar cast. And I think there’s no one better than Rohit Shetty to bring us all together in one frame. Yes, and it’s definitely going to happen.”

The Crew actress further shared, “The movie has emotion, action, and on top of that, I have a lovely role that’s a pivotal part of the film. Even if you look at big-ticket Hollywood films like Avengers, there’s always an emotional connection. Singham Again has emotion that comes from my character. So, after doing Crew and especially the audience, seeing me in this movie will be a total 360-degree turn as an actor.”

Rohit Shetty recently shared a picture of Deepika Padukone as Shakti Shetty in a cop uniform doing the hookstep of Singham. The picture looks intriguing and made fans go crazy. The movie is scheduled to release in cinemas in August 2024.
